Westinghouse Wedding portrait
We recently came across this photograph of Marguerite and George Westinghouse, taken the day after the got married in New York City on August 3, 1867. One wonders if they had any inkling of the great things in their future.
The East Gate is opened
Thanks to Pittsburgh Parks staff for opening the park entrance along Lang Avenue. The two stone columns that were once the main entrance to Solitude have been gated closed for many years, forcing everyone to walk around them. We hope this makes a more inviting entrance for park users, although not for vehicles.
Bravo to Quantum Theatre and the author and cast of the Current War
